India Heritage Research Foundation is an international, non-profit, humanitarian foundation founded and chaired by one of India's most revered saints, H.H. Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji. IHRF runs and sponsors free schools, women's vocational training programs, a medical clinic, orphanages/gurukuls, frequent free medical health camps, "Clean, Green and Serene" programs, organic gardening programs, Cow-Care programs, an extensive rural development program, and innumerable other humanitarian projects including the first ever Encyclopedia of Hinduism as well as ashrams and medical clinics in the sacred land of Mansarovar and Mt. Kailash in Tibet.

Encyclopedia of Hinduism

Encyclopedia of Hinduism

H.H. the Dalai Lama is presented with the first volumes of the Encyclopedia of Hinduism, at a Special Preview and Blessing Ceremony.

Mansarovar and Mt. Kailash Projects

IHRF has constructed three ashrams in the sacred, barren, untouched land of Lake Mansarovar and Mt. Kailash in Tibet, where previously there were no indoor facilities of any kind at all.

Interfaith Harmony

IHRF organizes and participates in a variety of conferences, gatherings and youth summer camps to heighten world-wide cultural awareness and inter-ethnic sensitivity.

Tsunami Relief

IHRF was extensively and actively involved in both immediate, emergency relief as well as in long-term permanent reconstruction.

Veerpur - Rural Development

India Heritage Research Foundation is developing an area, in a village of Rishikesh called Veerpur, which includes an organic farm, gurukul, gaushala and more.

Health Care Seva

The foundation supports (both financially and otherwise) numerous health care services, ranging from allopathic to homeopathic to naturopathic. All are open and free to everyone.
